Elijah Bull ("I", "me", or "my") developed the CC Soils mobile application (the "App") as an independent project. This policy explains my practices regarding information when you use the App.

No data collection

CC Soils does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. I do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or any third-party data services. No account creation is required to use the App.

Location

If you enter GPS coordinates in the App, those coordinates are used only to display map information on your device. They are never transmitted to me or any third party, and are not stored anywhere outside your device.

Map and soil data

Soil and map data displayed in the App is sourced from publicly available USDA SSURGO databases and is served to your device for display purposes only. No information about which locations you view is recorded or retained.

Third-party services

The App may display map tiles from OpenStreetMap or Google Maps for background imagery. These services may be subject to their own terms of use. I do not pass any personally identifiable information to these services.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by vector control professionals and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
